Newsletter 5  3/18-3/22


English- In English we are doing Greek Mythology! Every student is going to write an original myth from the European country they are studying in Social Studies. We are also doing a little bit of MCAS prep, as it is April 1-2.

Math- In Math we are learning how to use algebraic to solve problems. We also using variables to represent unknown values in an equation, as well as using diagrams to compare numbers to see if they are equivalent. 

Science- In science, we are learning the phases of the moon, and why the moon looks the way it does in the night sky. We will be testing our knowledge on the phases of the moon, and eclipses in a test on Friday.

Social Studies- This is a big week in social studies. We have the Global Goals Expo on Thursday, March 21 from 8:15am-9:10am. Everybody is invited, so come and see what we have been working on to make the world a better place.

Social Studies news bulletin!

Students must bring a printed copy of their Amazon Rainforest evidence to school tomorrow (Friday, 2/8) for our Amazon Rainforest seminar. If they can't print at home, they should get to school early so that they can print out their document in the computer lab.
